The short version
Everything we sell is made to your order, so all sales are final. You are responsible for the sizes you order. Prices, shipping, packaging and tax are shown before you pay. Questions? Text or call (945) 392-8317 or email info@custommdf.com before you order.
These terms apply to every order placed with American Custom MDF LLC, doing business as Custom MDF USA (“we”, “us”), on custommdf.com or by phone, text or email. By placing an order you agree to them. Last updated: November 1, 2026.
1. Made-to-order products
- Every cabinet door, drawer front and sample is cut to order in our shop in Little Elm, Texas.
- You are responsible for the sizes, quantities, styles and finishes in your order. Enter finished door sizes (width × height), not cabinet openings. We make exactly what you order.
- Hinge boring and other extra machining are available only on request, by quote.
- Custom raised panels and special profiles are quoted individually.
2. Prices and minimum order
- Doors are priced per square foot of each door plus a flat fee per door, as shown on our website when you order. The price shown at checkout, or in your written quote, is the price you pay.
- Doors over 48″ in height or width are billed at twice the square-foot rate.
- Each finish has a minimum order: unfinished $350, primed $900, painted $1,500. If one order mixes finishes, the minimums do not add up: the highest minimum among them applies to the whole order. If the order is below its minimum, the difference is added as a minimum-order adjustment.
3. Payment and sales tax
- Online orders are paid in full at checkout. Quoted orders are paid as stated in the quote, before production starts.
- Texas sales tax (8.25%) is charged on orders shipped to, delivered to or picked up in Texas, including packaging and shipping. If you buy for resale and hold a valid Texas resale certificate, contact us before you order.
4. Lead times
- Lead times are estimates in business days from order confirmation: unfinished 5–12, primed 10–15, painted up to 20. Large orders may take longer, and we will let you know if they do.
5. Finishes and colors
- Unfinished doors are raw MDF and must be sealed and finished before use. Primed doors need a light scuff-sand before your topcoat.
- Painted doors are sprayed with Sherwin-Williams Gallery Series waterborne cabinet & millwork topcoat in a matte (10 gloss) sheen, in the Sherwin-Williams color you choose. Colors on screens and paper chips can look different from a sprayed door, so please choose your color from a physical Sherwin-Williams chip.
- Painted samples are sprayed in whatever color is in production. They show finish quality and the profile, not a color match.
6. Shipping, delivery and pickup
- Shipping: UPS at live rates for your boxes, weight and ZIP code, plus packaging per box. Both are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Local delivery in Dallas–Fort Worth: $70, free on orders of $1,500 or more.
- Pickup: free in Little Elm, Texas. We text you when your order is ready, with the pickup address and time.
- Please inspect your order when it arrives. If a box or door is damaged in transit, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and the damage. We will file a claim with the carrier and work with you on a resolution.
7. Returns, refunds and changes
- All sales are final. Because every item is made to your order, we do not accept returns or offer refunds on doors, drawer fronts or samples once an order is placed. See our Refund & Returns Policy.
- If you spot a mistake in your order, contact us right away. Once cutting has started, an order cannot be changed or canceled.
8. Liability
- To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not responsible for installation, finishing or other work done by others.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
